Trading Forex, gold, CFDs and other leveraged products carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for everyone. Please make sure you understand the risks below before you decide to trade.

1. Leverage can make you lose money fast
Leverage lets you open a large position with a small amount of money, but it magnifies losses at exactly the same rate as profits. A small move against you can wipe out a large part or all of your capital, and your positions may be closed automatically (stop out) before you have time to react.
2. Volatility around major news
Around major releases such as Fed meetings, NFP or CPI, prices can jump and spreads can widen sharply. A stop loss may be filled at a worse price than the one you set (slippage), and prices can gap when the market opens.
3. Information on this website is for education
- News, analysis, support and resistance levels and scenarios are not investment advice or trading signals
- Prices and figures in articles are as of the time stated and may have changed by the time you read them
- Past performance does not guarantee future results
- We check our information carefully, but errors can still happen. Verify with official sources before you make a decision
4. Brokers and regulation
The brokers mentioned on this website (such as Exness, XM and HFM) are licensed by regulators in specific jurisdictions, and the entity you open an account with depends on where you live. Investor protection therefore depends on that regulator, and some entities offer less protection than others. Check the broker’s licence, account terms and the laws that apply to you before you use its services.
5. Rebates do not reduce trading risk
A rebate (cashback) is a partial refund of trading costs based on your volume. It does not make up for trading losses and should never be a reason to trade more often or open larger positions than you can afford to risk. 1TRADER earns income from broker partner (IB) programs when users open accounts through our links.
6. Basic good practice
- Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and never trade with borrowed money
- Set a fixed risk per trade (for example no more than 1–2% of your account) and always use a stop loss
- Reduce your position size, or stay out, around high-impact news
- Practise on a demo account until you understand how everything works before using real money
If you are not sure whether trading is right for you, speak to a licensed financial adviser.
